My Apple Pencil finally gave up today after 5 years of blunt force trauma and lots of being held together by tape.Genuinely surprised it lasted this long.

Just a quick update also I bought the Ikea shark and now my life is complete

comic is still in the works but I don’t really have any big news to share on it aside from that I’m working on it lol. Updates will come out when I have them :P

also in case anyone out of the 5 people who know I exist was wondering why I haven’t been posting much it’s because of some personal stuff regarding my family and i’s living situation. (Aka My house got haymaker punched by a car) everyone is fine but it’s hard to find time to do anything art related while we move crap back and forth from the house ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’ve been doing some practice writing and working on getting better at drawing lately. I haven’t made any new digital art yet but I’m thinking of making some Fanart or smthn. Hope y’all are doing good :D

Hi there. If you’ve been following me and my stuff for a while now you’ve probably heard about my “upcoming” comic project “the crows”

To make a long story short/for context: Originally a group project between me and a few online friends, that disbanded after the deletion of the site we used to work on the story together, as well as a falling out that happened shortly after. Leaving whatever was left of the project to me. It was in the works (privately) for around 2-3 years before the deletion, and I alone have been working on the recovery of the project for around 3-4 years. (But a lot slower due to a lot of long breaks and issues behind the scenes that I’ll cover later)

Because the story uses a lot of characters made by other people, and since they left the project/don’t want to be associated with it anymore I’ve had to remove a lot of key story elements/characters (along with some of my own characters because of it.) and because of the falling out between most of the people who were previously working on the project I could not physically reach out to some of them to ask if it was ok to use their characters, causing me to have to basically guess if they would be ok with it or not.

Over the past 3-4 years a lot has happened. With me personally and the comic itself. Covid happened. I’ve lost friends and family. I’ve had to say goodbye to my childhood home. My mental health has been… interesting. And I think I’ve drank straight up chemicals and or poison at least 3 times this week alone. (Please don’t huff Clorox wipes or smthn. I am not encouraging you to drink bleach.) oh yeah not to mention that I’m still recovering from a failed attempt at my own life. So that’s fun.

And on top of that I’ve been procrastinating the fuck out of even working on the comic because I have to split it into two comics due to some of the people who were working with me before changing their mind last second. Causing major story changes. (I already had a feeling I might have to split it because it’s kind of like it CAN be in the same universe, but it dose’nt HAVE to be you know?)

When I started this project, when WE started this project It never felt serious or like we were ever going to make anything official. It felt more like I was hanging out with my friends doing something we all loved. Just playing stupid role play games and writing our own little Creepypasta OCs with eachother.

When everyone left I didn’t know what to do. All that time and all the memories of us making something cool together we’re just. Poof. Gone like that. Everyone had moved on. But I was still here, picking up the pieces because I wasn’t ready to give up that feeling. Of us just being edgy nerds. Of us being kids. 

So I kept going, making something out of the failed dream that was out project because I’m a stubborn little bitch who has nothing better to do.

But now? It feels more like I’m doing it out obligation, or because I need to. I miss when i was making it for me. And because I wanted to do it. I really bit off more than I could chew with this whole thing.

After a long time of thinking, and a lot of soda and power naps.

I’ve decided Im going to be putting the comic on hiatus until further notice. I might still make art or small updates about what’s going on behind the scenes. But until I’m ready I’m going to work on other things for a while. Probably some writing practice and going on wacky hi-jinx with my friends and my super gay polyamorous partners. (And make sure they don’t set each other on fire lmao)

I am still currently working on chapter one of “the crows”

I’ve decided to split the original story into 2 comics because of character absence due to most of the ex-members of the project wanting their characters removed from the story along with story changes based in similar factors that basically make it unnecessary to link the two stories into one. While this dose mean that production will take even longer than I would like it to with alot of set backs I will be respecting their decisions to ditch everything including years of character development and hard work. No matter how much it sucks. Yay.

School starts back up for me in about a week so that will also cause some delay.

Ive also been thinking of saving up for an actual computer so that I don’t have to draw and post everything from my tablet like a little fucking iPad kid gremlin. Yes. i use all my socials on a fucking iPad. I also draw mostly with my finger. Fear me and my great iPad kid cringe power or something idfk

anyways I’ll try posting updates whenever I can and maybe some art if I have time! So ye. See ya :P

Just a quick comic update because I’ve been too busy with school to draw anything cool enough to post here lol

I am currently working on the script for the first chapter and some quick storyboards. I’m also thinking of making some more character sheets to help flesh out/finalize the look of the characters so I can draw them more consistently. I’ve also been doing some anatomy practice because I can’t draw angles very well. Wich is a bit of problem considering it might push back the actual drawing process of the comic, but I’m confident that I can not suck at drawing and do this!

Also sorry for the late update! I’ve been really busy with school work and haven’t really had the time or energy to post anything, but I AM working hard on the comic in whatever spare time I have!

I might be posting some storyboards and sketches here and there but until then I hope you all have an amazing spring. see you later! ^^

Hi everyone, i probably wont be posting for a while. I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress and mental issues lately and i think it would be best if i take a break. I won’t go into detail and bore you all to death but i just wanted to let you know, i’m not dead (yet anyway) i’m just taking a break. See you all eventually.
